If you have the Steam version of the game, make sure you extract it to your "titan quest immortal throne" folder. The directory should look like "Steam\SteamApps\common\titan quest immortal throne\Database\xpack\quests\scripted scene_pojandtoj.qst"

Also, it is possible to go through the Tower of Judgement without any lag at all if you wait for the ghosts to walk down the ramp and disappear before you enter. Grndr's ToJ fix does, however, make entering much more convenient.

I have the file extracted to the specified directory and still get the stuttering. It was annoying enough for me to put the game down a few months ago but I wanted to try it again as i love TQ.

Ive also tried waiting for the shades to all enter the doorway but the stuttering just continues afterwards anyway.

anyone else have any ideas?

Do you still have those shades that walk into tower of judgement?
If you put the file in the right directory, the shades that walk into tower of judgement don't spawn at all, so you cannot wait for them. So if you still have those shades, please check that you used the fix properly.

yeah, i have it in the right spot. I have checked about 10 times. And yes, i still have the shades.

I decompressed it to the TQ IT\Database directory (yes, into the other two sub folders).

No biggie, i fought through the choppy lag for a bout 5 minutes, and then all of the sudden it went away.
