Need Backups Or Original Game Files? Come Here!

I've had some people who need their original files but not longer have them or can't be sure that they have the original files anymore, this happened mostly with the game.dll, so I've posted on my website the original files for alot of the game, including the most common standalone patches. If there are other files you would like to see posted (space is not an issue), simply drop a line, I'd like it to be a safe place that the files can always be found, I'll put up a page and/or add the links to my website when I get the chance.

PLEASE BE AWARE THESE FILES ARE NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR PATCHING THE GAME!

We also modified creatures.arc, items.arc and effects.arc as well as the text archives for the patch - although those archives are much bigger than the database archive. Might be best to reinstall if people have altered any of those archives...

I wish I could get that post stickied...I'd like to keep it updated with files that may be altered from mods, etc. so people have a sure-place to download them if they need them, I also would have to do which files change between patches that are used in modding. I'll get more 1.15 files up when I can, I have a backup of each version of the game, but there are some files I don't have (and I forgot to backup 1.15 before I patched, doh, time to reinstall).

Thanks SoulSeekkor! I backed up my game.dll, but after using a few different mods, I have absolutely no idea which backup I need to use...LOL... Hurray for others being more organized so that I don't have to be...LOL

Welcome, I get confused myself, so I figured others did to, especially those who have to shuffle files like Bman and I, as well as Raven.

I downloaded and installed the Game111 and Engine111 files - no dice.

I downloaded the database120. It was much different than the one I had [Edit - duhh. Ignore this sentence, I should have tried database115].

I'm pretty sure from the filedate my database.arz was not the problem, though.

For people like me who've used Skins, your /Resources/Creature.arc is the problem... and at 330mb, I don't think anyone is going to want to host it.

So, I'm keeping a backup version this time.....

Yeah, I gotta change that as the database file was just changed in 1.20 (hence the other link). The creatures.arc file and other's I will host when I get a chance to get things organized and updated, I have enough space to host them, the main problem will be a hefty download size, less than that but probably still alot.
