If you are still doing this, I would greatly appreciate it if you uploaded creatures.arc. Both the v1.30 and v1.01. When I try to install I get a CRC error, my creatures.arc does not match the .cab file. I can ignore this, but it refuses to update to 1.30 because of my corrupt creatures.arc file.

Hi SoulSeekkor I'm am having a problem with the creatures.arc,
I would be grateful if you could post a link to the original creatures.arc on your server.
I am guessing there may be some corruption on my original DVD

I to have also tried uninstalling & reinstalling after deleting the original folders and even tried installing and patching in both XP & Vista as I have a duel boot.
I also visited windows update,and got the newest version of the windows installer which told me I already had it installed when trying to install it.

Note: (I do own originals of TQ & TQIM its just I think is starting to point to a faulty file problem)
also my Dvds have no scratchs and install without errors and other people have had the same problem with the same file
One guy whos having this problem said he tried his DVD & a friends DVD also.

Is it possible to go from 1.3 back to 1.2? The other thing is I purchased TQ through Valve, and so I'm not sure I can even uninstall/reinstall and choose my patch version.

Not really without reinstalling and patching to that particular version (which can't be done with Steam). You could try to replace the files with a 1.20 installation I suppose but you'd have to know which files are modified by the patch which I don't.

Thanks Soul, I wound up uninstalling the Valve version and re-installing the game from the CD I found. The strange thing is, now the keyboard doesn't work in-game. I can move my guy with the mouse, but the only keyboard strokes that work are the Windows key and Alt-F4. Truly irritating! Have you ever come across this?

Did you try restarting and running it again? I've never heard of that problem before in two years.

I've narrowed it down to the patch from v1.x to 1.20. Once I do this, the keyboard no longer works. However, everything works perfectly when patching straight to 1.30. I DL'd the 1.x to 1.20 patch right from here: http://www.titanquest.net/forums/tec...come-here.html
