Very new to TQ. Quick Questions.

Hi, I have been playing TQ for about an hour now. I really am enjoying myself so far and I had a few quick questions that I THINK maybe bugs but I am not really certain.

#1. When I started the game downloaded it from Direct2drive. It came in like a bundle pack with the expansion for $20 bucks. I assumed that it would need patching so while it was downloading I grabbed it off the net. the 1.01 to 1.30 or whatever. When I got done downloading TQ I tried it and my computer told me that It was already current? So was it already installed with the bundle?

#2 My very first side quest was called something like monstrous something or other. I killed all the baddies in that cave and rescued the farmers friend. But when I talk to the guy i rescued and the farmer, I cant complete the quest. They just keep telling me the same thing over and over again?

What to do?

#1. I'm not familiar with the D2D version, however, it is possible that it was packaged with the most recent version of the game.

#2. The satyr shaman perhaps? Take the northern exit out of the village and after you travel north for awhile you'll encounter a satyr that can throw some spells. Kill him and that should be that; after killing him return to the village elder (or whoever the heavy-set guy was that gives you the quest).

I think he means the quest "Monstrous Brigands". If you use a tool called the Defiler (downloadable here on the forums), there is a method to reset a quest for redoing.

I've heard that the Defiler can reset quests.

#2 - since you got the bundle you have 1.1 of TQ:IT which is the latest version. (The original TQ without IT had patches up to 1.3.)

Somebody who was farming for Revenant items found a way to reset quests... have a look for that thread its pretty recent.
