Default Game running slow please help

I got an computer that is about 3 years old and I tried to play TQ on it hoping that it would play better than my other computer. However it does not, it run much much worse, it's choppy, slow, and goes into the loading screen mid game frequently. I was wondering if the computer's hardware can't handle it. so here are the specs:

Computer: eMachine T5048 (I know eMachines suck but the specs are better than my previous computer and the game is running worse on the eMachine)
OS: Windows media center 2005 edition
HD: 160GB 7200RPM
RAM: 1GB
CPU: Pentium 4, 3.06 Ghz
Video Card: ATI Radeon Xpress 200 (128MB)(integrated into motherboard)

It's freshly reformatted so there isn't a chance it's running any virus' or spyware.

Thanks.

Integrated graphics are not meant for gaming as they use system ram. That is why it's running slower.

I was thinking it was the graphics card as well, thanks for confirming my suspicions.

Thanks.

Cards are coming down in price a lot. You should be able to pick up something fairly cheap that will run the game well enough. Just make sure you get the right one (PCI/AGP/PCI-E). I'm guessing here but I'd imagine AGP in that machine.
