BZZZ....reboot

Quite often when I play, in the first 30 seconds of play, the game crashes, with a BZZZ, followed by an auto-reboot.

I've updated drivers, defragged, bought and used a registry cleaner, and fidgeted with the video settings.

Sometimes, I can play for hours on end. But, it often takes a half hour or more of BZZZ...reboot 'games' before things finally load properly or whatever.

Can anyone, anyone, give me a clue what I can try to get rid of the BZZZZ...reboot problem?

Do you mean your pc makes a beep sound then reboots?If so,that's your motherboard signaling either bad ram,overheating,....etc.

No, the the in-game music or sound effects freezes in mid-sound for a second before the reboot.

Other games, such as CoD4 work fine, for what it's worth, so I'm not entirely convinced the hardware is bad per se.

Maybe try turning sound acceleration to standard in dxdiag.I dunno...

How about you computers stats.
Also you could try and increase you Virtual memory, it my not help but it makes a lot of things work better.
