my TQIT game is having problems and it does not let me join multiplayer games and i want to uninstall and reinstal the game, but i do not want to lose my charecters. Is there any way i can save my charecters to a flash drive or something else like that and then uninstall my game?

yes there is

if you go into the save directory
xp: */my documents/my games/titan quest- immortal throne/savedata/main
vista: */[username]/documents/my games/ titan quest immortal throne/save data/main

you'll see folders with the names of all your characters.
copy those folders to where ever you want to save them (eg desktop or usb) and replace them in the new savegame/main folder when you reinstall

My multiPlayer didnt work either but i fixed that problem by running it as an administrator
