My character's skin texture is blue and yellow squares!

Ok so I played the game for a while - got to around level 10 or so. Then I played with the editor - dont think I changed any settings - just dropped a camel and a tree on the ground. Anyway - i try to play the game today and my character's skin (not armor) is textured with blue and yellow squares!! If I create a new character they are fine. Now I know I can just start over, but I dont want to! Might there be something I screwed up in the editor?

This is the only time these blue and yellow squares show up! I've tried uninstalling, my game is up to date, I've lowered settings, etc. Nothing.

i think something in your monster file got messed up. im not a pro at this but when i installed the allskins mod there was an example of what your problem is. ill go check out the thread and link it to you.

im having the same problem with the blue and yellow squares on the allskins mod
i was so pysiked to get the allskins mod to work and its all screwed up

This may be nothing, but I once had the same problem when I tried to change my chars tunic to something that did not exist ingame, hence the blue and yellow squares, try undoing what you did.

I'm pretty sure that if you are having this problem with the allskins mod, it must be because it is not installed properly - as far as I know, the blue and yellow squares represent a missing texture... someone can correct me if I'm wrong with that... make sure you follow the instructions given with the mod especially if you're installation directory for TQ/TQIT is anything different from the default directory.

it could mean a 4 things -

1. You Didn't Istall it Correctly-
"If you tried uninstalling it and installing it again i doubt it is this probably unless you missed something both times - i would the installers guild carefuly or if you know someone else that plays Titan Quest you could try talking to him step by step.

2. When you made an editor map you could have messed up on the mods -
It Might be something with you mod - But you also said that you tried different characters so it probably doesn't mean that unless you used a different mod. To fix it - i don't know of a way.

3. Monsters -
I know the pattern very well and ive only seen a custom monster like that. The reason of that is because you make a monster, Make what it does and how it reacts, how fast it is, That kind of stuff. But it is because you don't make a look for the monster and so that game just replaces it with yellow and blue sqaures. This i do not also know how to fix.

4. Weapons -
I have 3 or 4 Weapons with that pattern and of course they were made it custom. It happens just like a monster gets those patterns so if you are wearing a sword that appears like that outside your inventory then that is your problem. I do not know how to fix this.
