Can't log in one of my characters

Sorry if this has been asked before but I've looked through the first 6 pages and could not find anything relevant.

I was playing online with my friends today when my computer crashed. After I rebooted I found that I couldn't get on the character I was playing.

The character shows up in the menu with the avatar and everything. Except when I join or start a single player game, it goes to the loading screen for about 3 seconds and kicks me right back to the character select menu.

Anyone have a similar problem or have any idea on how to fix this?
