Savegame probl

Hi , i played TQ in vers 1.01 and i reached a lvl of 20..since then the game started crashing alot..
So i chose to reinstall the game , and aply the latest patch ( 1.30 ) , i did so and when i wanted to load my formmer char..it was not selectable..and my savegames are intact..
Pls some1 help me .. ps the old savegames ( from v1.01 does not have a back-up folder ..)

C'mon .. is any1 even browsing through these forums anymore?
TQ is such a big dissapointment .. besides the graphics .. everything sux big time .. alot of bugs , same ol' story , same ol' gameplay .. etc etc
Donno why i even started playing .. at least there's neverwinter nights 2 out there.. amongst the few real RPGs worth playing !

Not sure about TQ but with other games I have played if you reinstall and use updated patch old saved games will not work.

If you have the Defiler all you need to do is run the game, stop at the main menu and select 'Patch Game' in the Defiler....that or get IT then you won't have to worry about that happening with the character versions.

Yup sry abot my 2nd "harmfull" post but i discovered IT and playing it solved my issue .. Thnx again for the respnonse and btw it's good to see that the titan quest community is still active after 2y since the game came out. GG ppl!
