Please help! (not a bug -- Immortal Throne related)

Hello! I bought Titan Quest and Titant Quest: Immortal Throne through STEAM. I loved Titan Quest! But I wanted to see what Immortal Throne was about (even though I am only level 17[battlemage]). So I launch Throne via steam, it loads up, plays the same movie as the first game.. then it 'imports' my character from regular Titan Quest. I'm thinking, "Cool, i dont have to start over, sweet!". Anyways, when I started the game, I was at the very beginning(in regular Titan Quest), as in when you first create a character. Is this how its suppose to be? (I did not complete the game in regular Titan Quest -- is this the problem?)

I pressed escape and saw a "Unlock Content" button, clicked it, and it's asking me for a "unlock code"?? I never received an unlock code I'm pretty sure. Is this unlock content for Immortal Throne? What am I doing wrong? I'm a complete noob, so any help would be appreciated. Thank you!!

Edit: couple of questions for you guys...is there anyway for me to move around without using my mouse? like say.. WASD(w=up, a=d, s=left, d=right), or the arrow keys? For some reason using the mouse to constantly move around is bugging me.

Did you launch the game with the IT icon? You should be able to pick up where you left.

About unlock content..type it in the search box.

Actually, I've always had the same issue when importing from Titan Quest into Immortal Throne. There was a thread a few days ago about the same issue and someone mentioned manually copying your quest files over.
