Thumbs up partial game fix (lag/rubberbanding)

i post here after doing several tests of my own on some of the rubberbanding and game lag issues, if you notice anything to do with the shadows makes teh game lag such as when it turns night or you enter a cave/underground pass. also when massing against large groups of monsters your character may start to lag, even after they are dead. (with the execption of the crows/birds you kill which immidiantly vanish when they die) I beleive this is because they are still part of the game which means they stay in ram until their body disapears, i think it would make sense to put in an option to make the corpses disapear right after you kill them, but also items from the monsters drop and they stay on the ground for a very long time, i think the time items stay on the ground should be limited to a shorter amoutn of time, (i mean if you dont pick the item up the first time you really dont want it that badly.)

As to deal with nighttime or caves i beleive that is not really where the solution should start, because i have tested on a variety of different systems and most do not lag very much when it turns to dusk and i beleive if the corpses would dispear from the game after you killed them it would exeptionally improve the rubbernanding effects/lag while underground. the ain problem with being underground or it turingin night is when you are by many different light sources, the light sources create way more shadows then you would have form just one light source during the daytime or above ground(that light source being the sun). i am not to sure what could be done with the it turning to night and going through caves except that they should make less light sources total and maybe just increase the brighness of the lightsources all together, at night i find it easy to see with just the light from the moon.

i know some of thee ideas may seem like it makes the game less realistic, but if you take a look at diablo 1 and 2/expansion you find that this game is already significantly more realistic those games ever were and yet they still host thousands of players online to this very day, people would rather play a smooth running game over and over then play a new similar game with a lot of glitches and lag. i mean if you take a look back diablo one and two had loading screens which most players seem to hate but i think makes the games run better overall, it had no visual effects such as grass or waves moving on shore(with the execpetion of fire).

but really im not here to compare the two games i was just hoping for a better patch to lessen the lag and i thought maybe my ideas could help considering no one else seems to have noticed these things. i have bought titan quest 4(includingTQ IT) times now (i needed at least 4 cd keys for testing) and i just want to let you guys know that i will definently wait for a better patch before playing any other games. and no rush but please make haste

Also i know if your having trouble with major lag and rubberbanding and you dont care what graphics look like in the game as long as its smooth i know a pretty good way to fix it first go on TQ and turn (off) full screen mode then exit and locate the icon for TQ in ur desktop right click go to properties then to compatability, select all the boxes except run in 256 colors and run in compatability for 2000 or xp(again do not click those ones but everything else, after that load the game ur res should be 600x400 which makes everythign huge so u cant even start the game, go back to graphics settings and load full screen, and bam you are in 600x400 fullscreen mode with no high dpi settings the game runs almost perfectly smooth, may lag if ur in a cave with tons of monsters but should see a big difference. well i hope this helps someone out there wish i knew about it when i first started lol =)
