Default The problem of having too much money in TQ

I'm a lvl 46 conqueror in epic and currently i have around 50 million of excess money that i have no idea what i'm going to do with it. The main problem is that the shops all sell pretty inferior products and there is no option to 'gamble' like in Diablo 2. So i would suggest that the developer increase the number of unique items sold in the shop as well as once in a while , some very impressive unique items that are relevant to the character's level. Another way is also to implement the gamble option in shops to get items that are definitely unique. This is because as the game progresses, money become more of like decoration with almost no purpose whatsoever because the player will always have excess money. (side note: i'm playing TQ 1.3)

Yea I agree, I will spend about $1mill every few hours on pots, but I can easily make that in that timeframe as well. I think I have over 500 million at this point and have just stopped picking anything up that is over 10k gold.
A gambling aspect would be awesome and much appreciated.

Please Iron Lore, tone down the gold, I'm in Orient of Normal and there are just thousands of gold laying around. Hiring a Merc or gambling would be fantastic.

i just don't pick up anything anymore, unless it's a potion (I keep a store of 20 divine heals and 5 Divine Energies) or a unique I want/need. I've got around 50M in petty cash just lining my pockets; I've created and stored every artifact and have noting left to spend my money on.

Every now and then i find a rare for sale that looks interesting, but that's it.

Having completed Legendary with a couple chars I have not found excess gold to be a problem.

I think a good idea for traders/vendors would be to have a armour set trade option, where you bring an armour piece, pay a fee and get to pick another piece from the same set.

Having unique items (rarely) appear on vendors for appropriately high prices would be fun.

buying scrolls is a very good money sink, they cost average about 25million don't they? I buy a scroll of maddened god, or the other one whenever I see it.

hmm, yeah buying scroll may be one of the avenue for spending money, but i think there should be more avenues to spend the money on. So far, some of the suggestions are pretty sound, so come on add more suggestions or your thought s regarding this matter!

My way to spend gold:

1) Green Weapon
2) Scroll

Option 1 is enough to sink my money. One Green Bow that I liked could cost me 33mil. So you got 40mil, mind buying me a couple?

I do agree that great green items are rarely seen in vendor.
