Don't show GAMEPLAY trailers (not to be confused with CG-type animation stuff) with a nicer camera angle and screenshots on the box (original titan quest) with the same nice angle. You're showing us something that is NOT possible and advertising it as part of your game. The advertising is very deceptive and reeks of decieving people to get more $$. Love your game, hate your advertising practices.

I feel your pain there, and although I can't view this movie, I've just come to expect that this happens with practically every game that comes out. The promotors are always going to give you the best possible rendition or representation of the game engine's capabilities.

Now if you actually saw a user interface in that movie I might say the same thing, but I doubt there is one.

In anycase yes it's sucks, but that's life the best we can do is use the mods, unless more people would request camera improvements.

I very much agree, though I notice it's mostly screenshots of RTS games that are being shown in angles impossible in the actual released game. I hate them.

Heh one the comes to mind that exploited this terribily in the earlier stages of development was the Battle for Middle Earth. But by the time it got around to release and they started showing the real in game screens, the whole time I had been expecting something the along the lines of Total War yet it was nothing close... typical top down RTS bah! But still fun none the less


UPDATE: I'm on a computer with flash now watching the intro video on the TitanQuestGame intro page which displays some pretty nice viewing angels... it makes me want to cry lol...
