Default Pets should not be attackable by groupmates

I have one suggestion that I've been hoping will be added to a future patch. I would think this is fairly simple.

Please make it so that a player's pets are not attackable by a groupmate (for normal multiplayer coop.) The groupmates cannot attack each other (just as they cannot attack townsfolk) so there seems to be a way to flag players in the game. Please apply this to a player's pets, too. It is very frustrating to finally get a Shrine of Mastery and get some nice higher level pets from it, then wander into a massive laggy battle where your partner accidently kills your pets. I can't count how many times my pets have been killed by friendly fire.

If the other player is present when you summon the pets, they can't be attacked by him. This is only possible if he wasn't in the same screen when you summoned them. It's an old bug, unfortunately.

This has been creeping up in my games with Lothos too, I ended up respeccing out of Trance of Wrath because of this.

FWIW, its not simply an issue with summoning pets with the other party members present. There's issues with portal usage too. When Infares portals out and ocmes back, my pets no longer get his buff and he can usually kill them even though I summoned them when he was first present. Resummoning seems to fix it though. Sucks with the cooldown on wolves though.

If we engage in any meaningful combat, Lothos will usually have to recast his wolves anyways because I usually open with 16/12 Phantom Strike and 12/8 Dream Stealer. Wolves in range usually don't have Survival Instinct up due to the fact that they more or less are invincible in Epic Greece vs everything but me. I one-shot the little buggers though.
