Just started out on this journey with a new toon, and it's been really fun. Most other builds have been more melee based, and this has taken some getting used to. Looks to be very powerful from the get-go though, which is nice- looking forward to the point when I can get the good equipment.

I just started my third character using your build. As I reached lvl 20 in the beginning of Act 2 I decided to try xMax for the very first time, and I must say this build rocks! I cleared mobs after mobs without much difficulties, died once or twice (I'm a noob after all
) before reaching Telkien, and even managed to kill all three of him (without dying), yay . The boss before the gate to Act 3 was a problem though, so I had to switch to normal to defeat him ![]() Now I am lvl 31 and have just reached the second portal (forgot the name). I am having some problems with my poison resist now (those pesky spiders), and the bolt/arrow turrets (or what its called in english, I have a german version ) cuts my health in half when I get hit (perhaps because my pierce resistance is 0%?). For the first time the game is getting a bit more challenging (mostly because of the ranged enemies), but I guess that's because my resistance suck at the moment. I still mow down mobs like there's no tomorrow, so my damage-output is not a problem yet.As I reached lvl 28 I started to invest in dream. I want to increase my survivability so should I go for max premonition and temporal flux before anything else? Is the Lich any helpful now before epic? I also want to say that this build made me start playing Titan Quest again, and I'm having a blast! This time I will try to finish the final act of Immortal Throne and enter the epic levels for the very first time! |

I'm glad you've found this build, or should I say the combination of Necrosis, Harrowing, Ternion and damage converted to health to be fun

Hey Poinas my man, Whats up? Its imsofly321.
Listen, any chance for posting your Diviner set? ("Thulsa Doom") ![]() Cuz i wanna C the green and stuff (hope my eyes wont come out lol). And like i said, if ive maxed necrosis without the patch, and now ive patched the game, do i have to max Ravages of time? Thx in advance. |

The stave:
160-170 base damage 14% health reduction ~24% reduced energy cost Cuffs: +3 skills 25% elemental resistance 40% slow resistance 40% poison resistance Enchanted with Pristine Plumage, 40% poison resistance, +35 defensive ability Rings Hale of Grace x2, +26% health, other one +39 dex and the other 41 IIRC. Enchanted with Demon's Blood and Monkey King's Trickery. You don't need to max Ravages of Time if you're doing fine without it. I played through legendary without RoT. Still I recommend you put at least one point in it, and max if your DA is low or your having trouble in melee combat in general.

I really like the concept of this build!
I still have three questions though: How does this build do in therms of killing speed, crowd control and fun factor when compared with strong, DPS focussed build like the Brigand, Harbinger, Conqueror and the Haruspex in xmax? How strong is this build compared to the Oracle/Conjurer build in therms of DPS? Since both the Oracle and the Conjurer make us of powerfull +% elemental damage skills (Storm Nimbus/Eye of the Storm and Earh Enchantment/Volativity) while the Diviner can only use Trance of Wrath and Lucid Dream. I see you have made alot of toons (of which a lot are level 70). Which of these toons did you find the most fun, easiest, most challenging, best farming and last but not least: least boring even after reaching lvl 70? This build does not pale in comparison to any other class. Killing speed is amazing once you get a Harrowing stave.
You can check the link in my signature or in the first post of the thread to get an idea what kind of gameplay is to be expected.

Just wondering what dexterity should I aim on getting at the end of normal, epic and legendary?
I currently have 153 dex. and i'm at the start of act 3, don't know if that's enough.
