I haven't played THQ in a year or more. WHen I left, Ternion would group tighter depending on how far away the target was when it went off. This way all 3 blasts, or at least 2 of them, would almost always hit if the target was in medium range.
Now the blasts spread out in a huge angle, and the power....sucks? Was there a nerf that I'm not aware of? Anything else I should know about my Conjurer? |

If it was nerfed, must have been truly godly (or demigodly
) before.My lvl 15 Oracle *destroys* bosses using a halfway pumped up Ternion attack. I have to get a bit closer than I'd really like to get the full power out of it, but the damage makes it worth it. |

I remember using Ternion for the first time, IT had just come out, with a Conjurer in act 1. It felt like cheating

Yeah, Ternion Attack still rocks. Not to mention the amazing Arcane Lore, which will add a great Area Effect to the skill. I use the following combo with a Conjurer: Ternion Attack (+Arcane Lore); Dark Convent (+Unearthly Power); Earth Enchantment (+Brimstone).
It works OK also with Deathchill Aura (+Necrosis) and Volatility.
