lol, Waldo, this is like the third thread.

@op, don't neglect otherworldly power. Once your character gets up to level 40 or so, you have enough hit points to make this skill worth it. It'll boost your elemental damage while the dark covenant keeps your regen way up. It pwns.

As far as doing lots of damage, either earth or storm (as others have said). Storm has the wisp advantage, and the fact that you can work both lightning and cold damage, which gives you more versatility against elemental monsters.

Also, consider dream. The vitality and electrical damage boosting is pretty sweet, though you won't get to the same numbers as with earth or storm, but it does offer you Psionic Touch which is great for Normal until you can afford the mana cost of ternion.

And, though waldo is great mad happy pants about taking rogue (it really is the best survivor of all the classes I've played), the damage amounts are low. And while it may compensate for that by offering unparalleled creature control, if you really wanna blow **** up, it's not the best choice.

I agree about squall skill... is one of the best skills in the entire game... when it (and the sinergies) is maxed out, you just almost completely disable ranged attacks (casters and archers), which is crucial in legendary. Besides, squall damages enemies and more importantly, lowers their resistances so you (and your pets) hit them harder. On top of that squall tree also reduce the damage your enemies do on you.

Also, otherworldy power is very useful in high levels. I'm using it a lot in my Conjurer, keeps my mana high and increases dps a bit, while only losing 500 hp or so each time I cast it.

In mind: Haruspex, Elementalist and Ranger
