The new Ternion

How does the post-patch Ternion stand up to other types of ranged damage? Elemental, piercing, etc.

I never played with the old version, but the new version works quite well still. As a caster, you might want to make the choice of using ternion instead of ice shards based on how good your equipment is. The better your gear, the more ternion shines.

It's balanced now I guess. It still does great damage with the right equipment, but it isn't overpowered anymore.
