All,
I made a character on a whim that has actually been fun to play. I put 1 point in Rogue, then immediately maxed Envenom Weapon, then I saved points for a level and switched over to Spirit. I've been pumping Intelligence exclusively. Ive got 5 in the Liche King, 1 in Death Nova, 1 in Ternion, and 1 in the Ternion synergy, but otherwise I'm pushing to Outsider ASAP. I like the character so much I'd like to play it long term. However, I'm concerned it wont be viable later. I would eventually crank 24 points into Rogue just to max all 4 members of the Envenom Weapon line, but I'm worried that since Rogue wont pump Int that my Ternion wont be effective later. I will essentially be a Spirit-only with Int less than what it could be, but a nasty poison attack. How long will such a build remain viable? Lewis |

I'm doing this same build, however I'm going up Spirit tree first. Ternion + Envenom Weapon. I've noticed that Undead are more or less completely immune to me right now, I have to get whatever that 'bonus against undead' aura is. I'm going to go for that 'Confuse/Fear' ability with the notion that poisoning all the mobs and making them run around or Fumble or Flash Powder will give time for Poison to run its course.
Right now my toon is a total gimp, bosses maul her. She's so Energy-hungry and incapable of tanking it's kinda silly. I'm going to be farming her the best equipment I can find because I can tell right now she's going to need it. I usually play with friends on a LAN so being gimped is mostly only a problem for soloing. |
