Default New to TQ and IT

Hello everybody first of all I want to start out by saying thanks for the help in advance. I have read quite abit about the different routes to take and I have decided to go with a spellbreaker for my first char. He is lvl 18 and I just reached Egypt. I have been questioning myself as far as dual wielding. Currently I have a sword and shield that does better damage and dps than when I am dual wielding weapons. Guess my first question is at what point will I see a increase in dual wielding over a sword and shield? I have been keeping my strength and dexterity even as I lvl some where around 190 each atm and have not put anything into health. My reasoning is the tactical mastery seems to gives alot of health maybe that is wrong to do I don't know. I know everbodys game play is different so I will not ask the question whats the best way. I am more or less looking for alittle guidance. Maybe I am expecting to see more form my char this early in the game. If any of you dont mind helping people out and would like to hook up, I have xfire you can add me if you want(Filorux). Do any of you recommend and mods to pick up and are they only for custom games or will they work with single player also?
Thats all the questions I can think of right now and again thanks for the help.

If you have 2 equal weapons, they will always out damage a sword and shield. It's just the DPS display will lie to you. It shows you the average damage of your weapons, but do not take into account you will swing more often with 2 weapons, assuming you put points into dual wielding.

I don't know if I'm correct in this, but you reach a point in egypt where you get two drops of magical sabbers. Equal damage attributes but with different percentages between.

When you will start getting Hew, Crosscut and a bit later Tumult then you can be completely sure that your DPS is lying. Because DPS does not take those into account.

Im positive that any Warfare class other than conqueror should go dual-wield (ok, mayb not the Dominator guy from this forum, thats just a freakie summoning mage).. And your real dps w that dual-wield tree maxed is around at least 160% of your real dps, so dont let it bother you. Not to mention that dual-wielding is Warfare's way to deal constant AoE dmg, so the practical dmg output far surpass that of sword and shield. Personally i would go sword and shield till around lvl 16-18, when i max onslaught i immediately go for dual-wielding tree Dual-Wield>Tumult>Cross Cut>Hew, only then i go for Weapon Training.

Later on get the Deathchill tree and make sure you hav some %dmg converted to health too, its really useful.

Oh, and dont put points into HP, Dex is a much better option, if you really hav nowhere better to put them (and HP is defnly not a good place). If you are the kind that enjoy extra mod to make the game drop a lot of good stuff ---> way easier and much more boring, then just get Defiler, if you like me and play the game as is meant to me, well i guess u ll hav to spend quite a bit of time farming places like Typhon or Passage tho . Cheers.

Personally when I start any Warfare build I always start with Weapon training and Onslaught. When those get at least half full then I go for other stuff like Dodge attack, Dual Wield, etc.
