Solved: The Quest for a Skirt-less Female PC!

At long last, here it is: a female skirt-less PC mesh that works! This represents many, many hours of work painstakingly moving 3D vertexes one by one, redefining triangles point by point, and swapping 2D texture map locations. Since I started from the femalepcskirt01.msh, all the animations are correct and the feet are properly on the ground. The thighs don't stick out of armor and the ponytail is only present (properly) when not wearing a helmet that would hide it.

I'm hoping that after two years there's still an interest in having this model. Unfortunately, no existing skins will be compatible with it (except, of course, the default skirt-less model texture), since the texture for what was previously the skirt area now comes from where the overlord's turtle used to be....

Update (2008/06/17): I have "patched" the default skins so that they work with both the old and new meshes at the same time. If you simply replace the existing textures with these, you can rest assured than you can use my mesh or the original mesh in game with any of the standard dye colors.

It's always been possible to make a picture of here, but really playing her was impossible up to now...

I've seen the change that has to be done on the .tex. Let's just hope some skinners will rally and come back to change their work. It's a lot of skins to adjust...

Been messing that (femalepc01.msh) mesh long time ago but it keeps levitating like the Lich King.. how did you do it? Did you put some weights and got her feet on the ground? Great Job

Unfortunately only the texture posted by lufe can fit into that mesh.
You may try those solid colored skins like the black skins by Zax or Alejo's.

Good thing is skinning is much easier now with the body, waist, hip and legs connected in one mesh. Bikini straps and thongs can be done a lot easier.

I hope somebody could take over skinning with the new mesh.

How do I install it ? Simply a copy in IT directory ?
