I don't plan to do this.... that mesh was actually a midway point in the process of making the new mesh, and let me tell you -- it looked horrible. Stretching the existing skirt texture to map to the "turtle" area really doesn't work out as well as it you might think. I thought it might work as well, but once I reached that point and looked at it, I decided it was pretty worthless. (Also, it would take way more time than I'm willing to spend at this point to redo the work.)

Unfortunately, this is impossible, really. Since the 3D coordinates of the skirt are NOT the same as the 3D coordinates of the bikini area, the 2D texture coordinates don't work out the same. For example, in several areas in the skirt there are two triangles next to each other, but in the same areas in the bikini the triangles are split apart and the edge between them is duplicated. It's not physically possible to directly map from one to the other unless you literally go triangle by triangle. That would be extremely painful (and would also result in the same ugly skewing as the mapped mesh from just above).

I considered these options and more during the time I spent making the new mesh. I had planned to try to create a Photoshop Action or Script that would do exactly what you ask, until I realized it didn't work out. It's a bit like fitting a square peg in a round hole -- you can either take the time to file the peg down properly or just keep shoving it until it squeezes in and becomes damaged. Sorry for the bad news.

I haven't used the viewer, I didn't know it existed! I made changes on GIMP and then repacked and loaded the game every time!! I had a better method than making educated guesses though. A WIP skin of mine would look pretty much like a chess board. I use a layer in the PSD's that puts a chequered grid on the 3D model. I use the grid to visualize my fits and connect the cloth pieces. At the end, I hide that layer and produce the TEX. The way p0a made the skin in one single piece is wonderful, it renders my chequered board thing almost unnecesary now.

I guess the PSD's you have are straight conversion of the TEX into PSD. The PSD's I have are multiple-layered which makes the skinning process way flexible. Let me know where to send the PSD's and they will be on your way. I only have the ones of my latest skins. I was dumb enough to delete the first ones

I agree with everybody in terms that re-drawing the hip portions of the skin will be easier than trying to move texture piece A into B.

Actually, I just realized today that, for most skins, it should be possible to leave the skirt area untouched and simply re-work the new bikini area. This would allow for drop-in replacement of the AllSkins textures with ones that would look perfect no matter which mesh is being used. Since the new texture would have both areas mapped, you could then switch models at whim and be assured that, while one model may look better (not saying which one ), at least neither of them would look terrible.

I've hm, realized that too. That's why I was working on Alejo's Fully Nude. But since the new feature of TQIT will be to chose the bmp and .msh based on the .tex name, I will need both .tex anyway (two different names) even if the content is the same - so the game will be able to differentiate between the crappy msh and your msh.

Well, in the meantime, here are drop-in replacements for the default skins that will work with both meshes at the same time.

You, sir, have done wonders for humanity. Even without fixing the skin the game looks better!

Lufe what skin are you mixing it with to get the bikinied women ? I have mixing it with other skins and you get a weird black strip around the waist.

That's the skin on its own, without any other skin applied.
