ohh yeah. tnx for reminding me I already got Gandalf's pics.

Matseb: camouflage was only 1st used World War I, do you think it would fit the theme? Not that hard anyway, I will give it a a try.

Anytime...

And a Rambo skin (with the camouflage) would be cool...

LoL! Yeah I know, but some skins that I use do not tend to be in-theme anyway.

Maul: If you take special command for skin, I would like a skin like the demon ninja, but instead of a dark blue chainmail, i would like it dark green. And maybe dark green for the arms, the legs and the mask.

This skin would be a better fit with Labyrinthe armor, or Traker armor.

Have you looking for the Gandalf like skin yet ??

I'm also thinking of a cool idea for a thief skin. If anyone can ever teach me how to do make them, then maybe I can have a go. A nice zombie skin would be cool too.

Here's something I sent to another member; it applies here too:

First off, I use Paint Shop Pro; if you use this or Photoshop, my instructions will make sense instantly; if you use GIMP or something else, you'll have to translate them because the programs use a different approach in many cases. I once posted some suggestions for OoALEJOoO about making bump textures - he uses GIMP and I don't think he could make heads or tails out of them.

Open both pics in your paint program - the pic you're changing and the one your trying to match. You're going to be comparing them every moment until they match to your satisfaction.

(1) Colors. Select the areas on the pic you're modding that you want to change. This should include pieces of all sorts of colors. You want to alter them all at once so you retain the detail and shading while changing the base color. Now you can do various color adjustments to the whole selected area. PSP let's you do "Proof" which shows what your changes will look like before they become official. You can adjust Red/Green/Blue registers, Hue/Saturation/Lightness, Brightness/Contrast and a host of other subtler changes. Just play around with it until you get your picture close to the target. You may need to do several different steps until it finally suits you. Don't worry - all the paint programs let you undo steps, or reload the original in the case of drastic screwing up.

(2) Copy Patterns. You may want to copy over details like a texture pattern or a design. Select the design on the original and copy it; then paste it into the pic you're modding. You may have to save it as a new file first, in order make some changes like shrinking it or rotating it. If you only want to copy a portion of it - for example you want to copy a round design into a square patch, select the square patch on the pic you're modding and use the "Paste Into Selection" command. You can use tools like the "Clone Brush" or "Soften" to blend the edges of the new bit with the original.

(3) Drawing. Sometimes you're just going to have to break down and paint in the new details yourself. You can typically copy in colors from your target to the pallette to paint with using the "Eyedropper" tool.

(4) Bump Mapping. If you've done more than just changing colors, you'll want to correct the bump texture to make it really look better. This is pretty complicated for an email message - if you really have an interest, maybe I'll post up a thread.

I do have Paint shop pro and I am pretty good at it. Thanks for the help. I just have one question to ask. What are the two pictures I am using? I assume one of them is any picture of the character I want my toon to look like. What's the one that I'm going to edit then?

Import one of these using ArcExplorer.exe (change the color as wish). You will find them in C:\Program Files\THQ\Titan Quest\Resources\Creatures.arc:

C:\Downloads\!!TQ Downloads\_TextureViewer\femalepc01_white.tex
C:\Downloads\!!TQ Downloads\_TextureViewer\malepc01_black.tex

Convert them to .tga or .psd with TextureViewer.exe. You won't need another picture in your case unless you're trying to match something (maybe one of the nude or semi-nude textures to help line up things on the model).
