That's cool, Alejo
Thanks for your email, by the way. I've been so immersed into doing the whole thing that I forgot to reply. It was very kind of you ![]() I believe you could slowly get interested on the game again. Lilith should do the trick. It not only presents a more challenging, more interesting game than the original Titan Quest, but also includes the AllSkins mod with ALL your skins inside. I'm currently working in a much, much better version of the AllSkins mod. This version will include: - One bmp file per skin. If you use the highest settings on the textures, this will provide a much better 3D vision of your skins. Every single one of your skins has been BMP customized, by a together-work of me and Maul. The game will automatically identify your skins by name, and load the correct bmp. - Automatic recognition of the correct .msh file. That means, if you use the new AllSkins mod and your skin is made for p0a's mesh, the Titan Quest game will recognize that it is such skin and load the correct mesh for you. - Easy installation: the installation will be done by an .exe file. No more difficulties to install the mod. - Automatic recognition of different haired skins: if your skin is a blonde, a red-haired, or a black-haired woman, the new TQIT + AllSkins will load automatically the correct femalepchairhelmet for you. Still, if you do that, the usage of some helmets will turn the hair back to the standard, there's no way around this yet. But it's a start...

Lufe, now that you mention BMP sizes. One trick that I did before, when I did skins for a game called SportsCarGT, was to increase the texture size.
In this case TQ skins are 512x512 and could be bumped to 1024x1024. I beleive the game won't mind and would still work. Just doing a 200% resize to get the 1024x1024 won't help much as the paint program won't add any detail at all, it will just interpolate to get the 200% resize. The thing is that now that you have more space, you can paint with a lot more detail in 1024x1024. You could also rework the face, etc, to give it extra detail. People with large resolution monitors would benefit more I beleive. Just a thought, you guys might want to give it a try ![]() |
