Heyho Mighty Heroes!

Months ago I released the Paladin Male Skin, followed by Silence from my Side. TQ wasn´t that interesting anymore. But the Add-On is the reason why I had made this new Skin. Its for all those, who didn´t like my Knight Skin, because it suits not very well in the mythologic Age. And for all the guys who wants MALE instead FEMALE Nude-Porn Skins...

So here it is. Trojan Leatherclothes. Hope you like it!

*UPDATE*

Version II added. Its even more detailled and has more features. Hope you like it, too.

edit - any chance of a re-release of your paladin skin....except using one of the starting base tunic colors rather then black?

Definitely looks better, esp. the face! The original guy looks a bit pained, as if he's a tad constipated, but this new face looks more manly and grim, and yet dignified at the same time. He reminds me of Sean Bean's Boromir (LOTR)!

And did you add the veins on his arms? I saw that and it looks awesome.

But my wife's first comment was why is he wearing stockings? lol Actually what's he actually wearing on his thighs? It might look better bare. Also, I think he needs sandals - he currently looks like he's wearing black socks.

BUT in any case this is excellent work! I tried it on my Conquerer who has a Mongolian helm on and he really looks like a Mongol warrior now!

Hi, i tried to search for instructions written before and found this: http://www.titanquest.net/forums/91805-post3.html

I've rewritten DirtySanchez's instructions (hope you don't mind!!) specifically for the male skin:

1) create a folder named "pc" in C:\Program Files\THQ\Titan Quest.


2) go to the newly created "pc" folder and create a "male" folder.

Now you have C:\Program Files\THQ\Titan Quest\pc\male\.


3) place the textures malepc01_white.tex and malepc01bmp.tex you downloaded in the "male" folder.

4) open notepad and copy and paste this code:

archivetool "c:\program files\thq\titan quest\resources\creatures.arc" -replace "pc\male\malepc01_white.tex" "c:\program files\thq\titan quest\resources\"
archivetool "c:\program files\thq\titan quest\resources\creatures.arc" -replace "pc\male\malepc01bmp.tex" "c:\program files\thq\titan quest\resources\"

then save this file as "male_white.bat" (or whatever name you desire so long as the extension is *.bat) in c:\program files\thq\titan quest.

5) now look in C:\Program Files\THQ\Titan Quest and run this bat file by double-clicking it.

You should have seen a brief flash of a black window command prompt window.

6) Go run TQ and check your male characters with white tunic, or buy white dye and recolour them.


Now, next time you want to change the white tunic to another skin, copy over the two *.tex files into the "male" folder and run the program again.

You can also change the skin for other dyes by renaming malepc01_white.tex accordingly, eg. malepc01_rose.tex


And this works in a similar fashion for female skins as shown in http://www.titanquest.net/forums/91805-post3.html

No problem guys - sorry it looks a bit complicated. Actually shark, bbird and other skin creators have released similar *.bat files which do the same thing. You might be able to find them too, but you have to take care cos most of them target the female skin, so the instructions I gave are specific to the male white dye.

You just need to understand how the commands take the new tex files and "write" them into the skin resources of the game. Then it'll make sense. so maul, for fishnet, you got to do the same but for

pc\female\femalepc01_white.tex

pc\female\femalepcskirt01bmp.tex
