Hey folks:
I'm new to TQ:IT, and am looking for class advice from some of you 'vets' out there that have already experimented a lot with multiple classes. What I need, are some suggestions for classes that are more "relaxed" in terms of gameplay. I want a character that can go all the way through the game and all of it's difficulties successfully - but it doesn't by any means have to be "the best" at it. I'm not a huge fan of a class that needs: -Excessive, non-stop button mashing and frenzied hotkey swapping -Chain skills that require you to land X, Y, and Z attacks successfully before your 'finishing' move can go off -Non-stop potion gulping (health OR mana) I do enjoy a class with the following: -Pets (they are enemy-magnets and passive/constant DPS) -Only a few main attack skills, with minimal need to constantly update/change/swap -Lots of passive skills, such as defense/attack augments/regens/damage shields/etc I'm not married to pets, and i'm also not opposed to lots of medium or long duration "preparation" skills being activated before a battle- I just don't like tons of skill-swapping and button-mashing during a big fight with tons of enemies. If it makes any difference, in D2 I was particulary fond of the tesladin (as laid-back as it gets!) and a skellymancer. Both classes were basically "sit back, relax, and watch the enemies melt" type classes. I realize this is a much different game with many more skills - but surely some classes are MUCH less click/push intensive than others. Thanks in advance for your suggestions! If your into pets try Soothsayer (Spirit + Nature) although here in TQ you cannot expect the same result as in D2 that your summons will do all the killing for you.
