Energy reserved?
I tried to see if I could figure this one out on my own but it still boggles my mind. I thought ok its energy I cant use unless I run out, nope never showed up. Then I thought well maybe its for when someone drains my energy they take that first, nope my normal energy depleted first. My question is what happens to all the energy that gets put in reserve. Thanks

One topic would be enough
 Anyway, the energy reserved is a part of your mana pool that is dedicated to that skill - as long as the aura is active, you're not able to use that part of your mana pool. You can see this by looking at your mana pool before activating the skill. Than compare it to the size when the aura is on.

yea i didnt mean to post it twice. After I posted it the first time and went back it wasnt there. I couldnt figure out how to delete the other one as well. I noticed that it was blocked out just didnt know if it took the mana away for good. Thanks

note that if you cast something before you activate an aura with energy reserved it actually takes the reserved energy from the already used mana.. hahaha

I have a question on this!
What does -10 energy reserved on an item mean? I haven't taken the time to do the math myself, and this seems like a good place to have that info :P

Well, it just makes 10 mana of your total manapool unavailable, I assume.

I would assume that if you have an item that does -10 energy reserved and you have an aura that does reserve 40 energy with this item it reserves only 30 energy.
but it would only work if you have an aura on, so it wouldn't do +energy if you don't have an aura.
