What's "Entrapment" ?

Hi, I'm new to the game.

Building a Ranger.
In Hunting skill tree, there's this skill "Trail Blazing" - reduce Entrapment reduration.

I can't figure out what's "entrapment", can someone enlighten me on this?

When a monster traps you in a net

Maenads and Satyrs do it quite a lot in the early stages and so do Centaurs

Entrapment is when an officer of the law encourages a person to commit a crime in order to arrest them.

I can't recall satyrs doing it. I'm sure centaurs, neanderthals, dune raiders and ichthians definitely do it.

The Satyr Trappers in the cave with the first side quest do. There are no more of those after that. The albino spider queens have a long range entrapment. The rare hero also has one.

Ah OK, I remember now.
Yeah albino spiders can get annoying when they get you while you're shield charging towards them.

The rat creatures also have entrapment.. and most spiders.

Its anything that stops movement and they are all annoying.

So those sprites that freeze you I guess can count too, but that would be 'freeze duration'.
