How about an Assassin? I think Assassin can pull it off, easily.

My Assassin build was a disaster in late Epic and Legendary. She could slow/confuse and eleminate crowds in split seconds, but her misrable survivability was really a great downside.
So, i think that both defence and dream would offer more survivability, but are not sure if sapros with defence or Tow with dream would make poison be worth having as support damage on Legendary. |

The problem is you need saphos -resist to pull this off, saphos is king of all weapons. Assassin is the best build for really high poison damage saphos & a poison weapon. If you using an other build then how about this land a it with saphos then switch to your poison weapon.
If you worried about survivability then Corsair be best and has good damage as well. The best poison damage be from dreamkiller as ToW and Saphos stack! Any mob with more then 0 poison resist will take more damage due to ToW and Sap[hos works on everything. Note landing a hit with Saphos for the -resists the switching to you high damage sword or spear is the best thing to do as then for ~3 secs you will do mega damage. Saphos will always be more effective then ToW as mobs need to have ~200% resistances to most of your damage types for ToW to give an equal reduction in which case -resist will be useless anyway. Also Saphos can take resist below 0 with or without ToW whereas ToW can only reduce current resists by its %age. Last edited by The Rock-man : 05-05-2008 at 11:57 AM. |

Well, seems like a tough call. Corsair will spread poison more around with sheild attacks to multiple enemies and have a good defence, where Dreamkiller gains huge bonus to total damage.
Well, since i got the Sapros i think i'll go Corsair. How does this build look ??? Corsair with Sapros level 65 Any bad placed skills ?? Last edited by Evilyn : 05-05-2008 at 04:57 PM. |

Not bad but you should put a point or 2 in Calculated Strike (+45% damage on the odd hit is better than nothing it also boosts your shield attack damages). Concussive Blow is next to useless its just 5% chance to stun and increased stun duration, (1 point makes your Lethal Strike your best stun go from 3 to 3.3 secs) you be better of dropping this and putting a point else where.
I personally would put more points in Inspiration for the improved duration on Rally. Also Batter + rend armor at lest one point is each to enable you to spread the poison over 3 target at will. |

1) Anyway, should i skip Calculated strike a use batter as leftmouse ? I mean this way i have a primary 3 target attack instead of the % damage from CS. 2) If yes, how many points should i put in it. Just 2 or go for the maxed ? New build idea: Corsair with Sapros |

Poison based corsair?
Now that's something I'd like to try... All'n'all most of my chars are offensive so it would be a nice change That's how I will/would play it: Poison Corsair what about equipment? ummm are there any good +poison dmg items? My only rogue is pierce oriented Assasin's Shroud? Last edited by Damnationed : 05-08-2008 at 03:45 PM. |

Illusionist might be ok without a Sapros, using a bow distribution with Plague backup. Corsair or Dreamkiller, though? Total Sapros territory. |
