Caster Dreamkiller is something I've been itching to try out but never had the time to try.

NO idea currently what the build would look like. Assuming Mastermind affects traps, probably focus on traps, nightmare, DW, and DR. Anyone else got ideas?

I'm thinking either Brigand, Warden or somthing else with Hunting.

I don't think so, just like strength doesn't boost the 450 damage proc of Rage of Ares but its just my old memory, I could be wrong.

I like the supporting char. definitely nature+hunting or nature+spirit, for stated reasons.

How about a leech build? Focuses on energy+life leech, with a secondary damage (any type) for undeads. It could be nice, gaining from the deaths of so many creatures :P

Anyone ever done a caster haruspex? Seems to be a viable, yet abstract build.

Isn't Haruspex dream+hunting? I don't see what hunting skills would benefit a caster much. Herbal Remedy and trailblazing/find cover, monster lure, those are a bit useful. Could you post a link to www.titancalc.com to show what you mean? I don't think I understand.

Here's one idea for a core build: http://www.titancalc.com/TitanCalc.a...-6-12-0-0-12-0

basically, for attacking, follow up Study Prey with DW and DR. for running away, you have Monster Lure, Temporal Flux, and Trailblazing. DF, Herbal Remedy, and Find Cover give you some much-needed defense.

for extras on this build (and/or depending on your playstyle), you could get Nightmare for some added pet support, though it won't synergize with much. Maxing DW is another option if you have the energy for it. investing in Psionic Touch might be another good option since this particular build will likely rely on staff DPS quite a bit, with only 2 damage spells.

The only real tough part about this build, imho, is that your intelligence and energy will be pretty low in comparison to other caster builds. however, with good itemization and skill spending, I could definitely see this as a functioning, viable option.

Magician

A new idea I had. It's a bombardier, Basically focusing on Volcanic Orb+Fragmentation, Eruption with Earth Enchantment for earth; Poison Gas Bomb and Envenom Weapon to boost it and trowing knives with blade honing to boost it.

So basically, you do Poison Gas Bomb, then Volcanic Orb and Eruption, and then knives on the survivors.

Using a sword/spear for the Envenom Weapon and blade honing. Equipment should boost fire damage at the first priority, then poison and piercing.

What do you think?

That Magician build seems to be spread a bit thin. You could do something similar (but much more effective and with fewer skill points) with a Brigand. Focus on Throwing Knives, Poison Bomb/Shrapnel, and the Traps line on the Rogue side & then get the +% Pierce Damage skills in the Hunting mastery to boost their effectiveness.

Yea, but that would be more of a trap build. I wanted a bomber build.
