Yeah, pets will get a small boost in damage just like they do in the regular game. Their melee will get a bit stronger, not so sure on spells. I think that would depend on how the pet's skill is classified. But if you're doing alright so far, then you should be ok in legendary. You might just have to watch for speed traps :P

Thanks both, just got pass Legendary Act 2 and no problems what so ever, even hydra dies quickly when all of them gank up on the poor thing and i just stay back and watch... I actually think the pets are stronger at legendary, i don't really need to heal them anymore which brings me to another questions... do the pets gets minus resistance at legendary like the player? cuz beside the fact that i know they get a HP boost, they don't seems to take as much damage (like elemental) as i thought they would be in legendary~ sorry for all the questions~

Pets resistances are fixed in all difficulties and some are even immune to some damage types IE core dweller is immune to fire (or so close to immune as makes no difference).

Finally finished legendary with this build. (Got side tracked a bit with my other toon~) Only problem it's still the good old typhon but otherwise Shepherd can handle anything~ i even tried it again on Xmax and is still doing ok! Pets are incredibly strong on Legendary~ Althought i have to say this build is quite item-dependant and requires a bit of micro skill~ but it's definitely the toon i enjoyed the most!
