Recently i wanted to make a caster class that shifted towarts the ranger end. And a noticed a few heavy unbalanced issues here.
The class caster is more or less a ranger that uses top tier mage abilitys from time to time, no more no less... this is a huge issue in my eye's.
You could sink more points into some lower tier mage skills but that just is useless in terms of damage output. (exept for the frosty clutch who is great for crowd control).
So i would like to propose a shift towards makeing the ranger ways a buff like the necromancer shots. This would open the way for rangers that shift towards shooting elemental damage within a lower degree and useing the support spells and the long cooldown from sorcery.
Anny feedback on this would be greatly noticed
