Default Wound Damage?

I saw this Vampire skill called "Cursed Ground" that does "Wound" damage over time. What kind of damage is this? What resists it? My head might explode from the curiosity.

Cursed ground is amazingly effective. Beasts will drop within seconds when within the circle, undead and machines take a little longer.

When maxed out it lasts longer than the recharge time allowing you to have a 'red fog of death' just about constantly.

If you can get a boss to fight you within the the cursed ground you will take them down far quicker.

Cursed ground also works under doors and through fences allowing you to take out some monsters before having to confront them directly.

All in all cursed ground is the best stand alone spell in vampirism I think.

I just looked at this skill, and there's a problem with it: you don't get any experience from the kills. That should go on the Masteries buglist.

My bad--I was talking about the skill Hellmouth.

Hellmouth summons an invisible battle standard type creature. That creature then summons skeletons when it seems monsters. The problem is, the experience from the creature kills goes to the battle standard, not the player.

There's actually no way to gain experience from the pet of a summoned pet (something I discovered when I had the Liche King able to summon skeletons). So, I don't think this problem could be fixed for this skill.

I've read the description now (sorry about 2 false bug reports ).

As far as the skill, I don't think he had an option with regard to the exp gain. I think he just cleverly worked the limitation into the game fiction.

I had a similar thing with my liche king summoning skeletons. If the liche king threw the skull projectile that summoned the skeleton, but then the liche died before the skeleton spawned, the skeleton would be a monster and attack you. I was going to work it into the game fiction by saying something like, "be careful that the liche king doesn't die before it can bind the skeleton to its will" or something. Of course, the no-exp from skeleton kills was something that I just couldn't get past, so I had to abandon it. :/ I mean, could you imagine taking on legendary typhon and one lowly skeleton gets the final hit, and you don't get the experience for the kill? lol, I'd be so pissed. At least with Hellmouth, it's not always on.

lol, now I'm wondering, if I throw the Nymph projectile, but die before it hits the ground, does the nymph spawn and attack my friend?
