I've been playing for a while with a Bombardier (Archery/Alchemy) and i have one question regarding this skill.
It does 56 piercing damage with 6/6 skill points invested. I've been trying by some means to up that damage using +%piercing damage modifiers on various items (including arm gear, head gear, weapons) but nothing seems to work. I tried the passive sharp eye skill in archery but that didn't work either. Is this intentional or perhaps a bug?

Yes, I'm using the show all damage mod.
After some more testing I've found out one more thing. The skill bowstring actually does increase the damage of injection by %. I put 1 point in bowstring (6% dmg increase) and i see 59 damage. I guess this should go into the bug report part of the forum. |

It's a strange bug then as all those should boost it (not bowstring).
The bug might be that it not really doing piercing damage? (As then bowstring can still boost it by ~5% every so often). Anyway Bowstring shouldn't boost it as that meant to be an active attack skill. |

Try Signal of Attack, that should boost it quite noticeably...

Viper Sweden since he saying Sharp Eye dont boost it nor +% pierce on items I doubt that Signal of Attack will have any effect.
I expect it will be found that its not doing piercing damage but some other type like physical or poison +the DOT. |

Sharp Eye only works with bows but Signal of Attack seem to be more universal, hence my suggestion to use it.

Viper Sweden any +% works for all skills & all attacks as long as it up and that damage is delt Sharp Eye is not an attack skill and is all ways on so should work. Theres clearly a bug with bowstring as that an attack but its boost damage of injection, if you read posts properly you see that other +% pierce dont work.

I don't know what's wrong with Injection - if there's anything wrong; this kind of aura may simply be unaffected by %damage boosts.
But I'm pretty sure Bowstring has nothing to do with it. Here's level 1 Injection and level 10 Injection with Bowstring (maxed) and level 10 Injection without Bowstring: ![]() Those numbers are straight out of the dbr. The thing is, they shouldn't be - Sharp Eye and Signal of Attack should be boosting them.
