So lets take +100% from gear and +50% from skills and+50% from stats with a 100 damage weapon that gives 100*(100%+50%+50%+1)=100*3=300
Then Escape the Fate gets turn on giving -75% its then 100*(100%+50%+50%-75%+1)=100*(125%+1)=225 so thats a decrease of (300-225)/300=75/300=25% decease.
Now take just the weapon damage its 100 without and with Escape the Fate its 25 or a 75% decrease.
See the problem? the less +% damage you got the more this effects your DPS output. Theres nothing you can do about it unless you remove attacks completely.
Hehe, you sound like the one from another planet... You are math-brain man!

So, the only solution to make the low lvl and high lvl chars with low and high dmg equal is to find something that does not decrease the dmg by %...dang, but it would still nerf the lower lvls one more...hmmm...I have no idea what to do, unless we decreased the dmg to the very zero value...But the idea that you can still attack is good...so, it will probably stay as it is in the 1.03...until someone complains again...

I wasn't saying it was a bad idea just that it won't work the way people think.
Saddly theres no way round this that i can see. (unless you can somehow change the formula used by the game.
The only other way i can think of is to make it give mobs a % damage absorbtion this will scale with damage delt problem here is it effects pets and allies 2.

Yeah, you are right...we thought it will work differently, hehe..

Problem is, it is one's fate, not all on the battlefield. Good idea, but also bad for what I've said.

So, what about nerfing attack speed? Would that be any affective? Or... fumbling yourself?

By the way, have you thought about capping -%recharge, if such thing is possible? It really annoys me, stuff like permanent colossus or (holy sh*t) permanent scape the fate.

Oh yes if it can be done fumbling your self that will work as 75% chance to fumble will be -75% DPS and it will scale (the same needs to by done with projectiles hmm 75% chance of impaired aim per attack maybe?).

Well, be aware that when you are fumbled you have some % to mis iwth attacks, but you always hit with spells and pets, so I don't think this would be the finel solution to the problem.

Read my post impaired aim will fix bow & Staff attacks, and maybe some spells as well (maybe add -%casting speed or something).
Pets are not to be included as they can still be killed as normal.

Well, not all spells, the ones that always hit will not be affected by that.
So a -100% recharger can be immortal AND effective with dealing damage.

A different solution is needed, ie put the max % of dmg absorbption to 95%, or -200% casting and attack speed (while leaving the running ability works as intended)...
