Well, that would hinder melee hybrids from casting it...and I played Sorcery character with maxed Avalanche and Meteor and it did not kill everything (minor bosses later on Normal for example) when it was maxed...so that I assume it is good like that...

The thing is that skills like this make me go for more -%recharge gear and i end up with getting another 100% recharge toon.
If it was a LMB skill perhaps people would be persuaded to go a +attack speed route? (I know i would )
As i know the skill does vitality damage (and lightning but much less) which means that it won't be boosted by +%elemental damage modifiers which most of mage end gear has. Never have i seen a staff with +%vit dmg, even legendary items like armour etc. are rare with +%vit dmg.
... but what do i know it is a wishlist after all .

Melee hybrids can't use Ternion and that doesn't seem to be stopping anyone...

I think that is little different, for you can use Ternion only with staffs... So what very powerful stuff would you use with melee in Masteries?

What do you mean, what Sorcery spells I would use in melee?
