Yep and that the dactyl (and even then it might only be one of the 2 types) which turns up in about 1 in 3 Hades runs. (Cant find the thread where it was stated though.) It still be useful against pierce resistance mobs and for hybrids or leechers vs skellys.
I will try and find the thread about mobs resist. Physical has really no resist outside of armour. Edit: though -16% of there resistances is very low imo as it means then need to have a resistance of 50-119% to make it worth while no matter (over 119% resist it stays above 100%). Agaist the dactyl it works out you get back 1.6% of your phys damage for 12 points. Dunno how effective it be for piercing etc without some resist numbers for monsters. Yes for everything but physical (the exception) and even then i dont think they get massive bonuses think its a 50% improvement if i remember right. IE its +50% so a 50% resistance mob will be 75% in legendary, if only i could find that thread.

i have to agree that a flat resist reduction would be far better
i defiled a high level spear character to test out discouragement with sickness on act 4 demons and did not notice anymore damage. i used the mod to see all damage fyi. edit: Do mobs have the same 80% cap on primary resists as players? Last edited by nesmar; 04-17-2008 at 04:55 PM. |
