I said "IN THIS GAME" Darth in this game it takes the % chances and adds them up to decides if one gone off then decides which one it was.

You never played a maxed out warden have you?

So if you have all three skills maxed out, something will always happen. I suggest you go try it out, see if that's true.

There are chances NOTHING will happen. It checks for EACH one I believe to see which it uses. Not sure of the order of priority, but each one is a different affect. With so many chances however, the rate at which it occurs will be more than an individual affect occuring but NOT the sum of them all.

I'm pretty sure they work separately. But the chance of none of them activating is very low. (like 1 to 10)

I know for a fact that in regular TQ it is impossible for 2 procs to go off at the same time and that it does it lottery style eg defense has 3 x 20% procs so 1-20 proc 1 21-40 proc 2 41-60 proc 3 61 - 100 no proc (or if warden then volley and gouge fill up the remaining slots).

I have tested warden and though I eventually removed gouge because the animation slows you down with everything maxed there is always a proc.

Otherwise there would be a .8^5 chance that there is no proc on a warden and that does not happen!

claudius this was what i was refering to and remember the mechanics of the game are unchanged.

The game rolls to decides if a proc goes of in the case of a warden it be 1-20 Shield Smash 21-40 disable 41-60 pulverize 61-80 Gouge and 81-100 Volley. (or all 1 &2s be Shield Smash etc).

So in the new CC tree with only Moirae's Attack 24% Attack of Janus 35.6% and Double Kill 40.4% (normalized to add up to 100%)
1-25 MA 26-62 AJ and 62-104 DK.
I know for sure that its not 72.5% when maxed as this would mean on average 2 times in 7 hits will proc nothing and this don't happen (in 3 hours of play time).

The same as in the warden case where 1 in 3 wont proc anything if it check each in turn, THIS for sure don't happen.

So we have a 100% proc rate with the skills maxed. On one hand, this seems really strong. On another, that is a lot of skill points going towards melee procs that may or may not be better spent elsewhere.

I have an Exterminator and these attacks are REALLY strong. but the killer skill is endorphin. Combined with alchemy you get some really really ridiculous defensive skills and speed boosts. I am in act 1 legenday with 0 deaths and I can take down hydra alreay untwinked (level 50) quite easily. Of course this was helped by the lucky find of a sapros on the way there

Very very strong combo.

Its more than 100% chance when maxed and since you cant have more chance of something going of than 100% you got points you can take back, as these etc points only effect the balance of procs happening, and so you be better of taking a point out of the weaker one.
