Blurred vision gives a avoid projectile % but the base skill, illusions, is a debuff to attackers. My question is that if the attacker is out of range of illusions (a ranged attacker) would blurred vision still apply and give avoid projectiles?

dodge% works on your character, not on mobs, so yes it would still work.

I assume the same is true of avoid projectiles then. I just wondered if somehow the enemy had to be hit by the aura to have their vision blurred. Enemy ranged characters would not be within 2 or so meters usually.

Blurred Vision is actually a buff for your character. The only reason it is linked to the Illusions tree is I'm assuming you need 1 point in Illusions to use Blurred Vision. I've noticed that a lot with most of the masteries. Some of the trees connect to skills, both passive and active, that do not relate to any of the other skills in that certain tree.

This is from the site
"Blurred Vision An aura is created that blurs the vision of the opponents so that they cannot target the alchemist as easily. Modification to "Illusions" ". So its not a passive but an upgrade to the skill illusions. |
