Default TitanQuest.net new owners

Hello all I would like to introduce myself. My name is Jay Fougere and I am the IT Manager for iEntry Inc. My company recently purchased the titanquest.net site from Edman.

We originally had planned a much smoother transition from his server to ours however, as he explained earlier, there was a hardware failure on his end so we had to scramble to get the site back up ASAP

I would like everyone to know that we fully intend on keeping TitanQuest.net running smoothly and even have a dedicated dual dual-core xeon server for the site.

If there are any questions, please either PM me or send me an email

fougerej@ientry.com

Thank you all for your support and I apologize for the inconvenience while DNS was propagating.

Also if you see anything at all wrong with the site please let me know

Well, that's a shock. I hope Edman retired on the proceeds.

Nice to meet you, I'm sure.

I am sure it is a bit of a shock. I had really hoped that Edman would have made a post himself for the announcement.

Regardless, we do not want to take anything away from this forum. There is a great community here and we would only like to improve on that.

I would like to assure everyone that we do not have any big changes planned for the site. I would also love to hear from anyone with any suggestions for improving the site.

Our door is always open. Please feel free to contact me regarding any concerns you may have.

Good to hear all that.

Tell me, for the sake of acquaintance, where abouts in the world are you?
Not that it matters, just interested.

iEntry and I are located in Lexington Kentucky of all places. The site is on our rack in Herndon Virginia - about 10 minutes outside of Washington D.C. It is on a 500Mbps pipe.

We are going to try and make the site more reliable than it appears to have been historically. We are going to be setting up a MySQL replication server on the backend and we will have the site backed up regularly in event of trouble. I really don't expect much trouble though. It is on a brand new machine.

You know what they say, never buy a brand new car 'cos nothing's gone wrong with it yet...................

Look forward to working with you in the future. If there's anything you need us moderators to do, just ask.

At least tell me you're thinking about it.

It's the thought that counts you know.
