Investing in Energy Attribute Points

I am playing as a Assassin and I was wondering do/should I invest any points into Energy attributes?

nope, never. investing into energy gives hardly any adavantage, its better you learn when to activate skills that reserve energy cost. if you can fully put your 300 energy to use thats enough already

But there's always monsters lurking around so when can I have time to deactivate a skill that reserve energy?

Also, what should a base set of attributes look like for an assassin at peak level 65?

if you have energy problems with base mobs get energy absoption. managing your energy should however only be important for bosses and there it means using horn etc before you activate poison or blade honing.

id go for 408 dex 378 if you dont feel like it, 500 str rest life or rest str
