Ok so I am pretty sure poisons will not hit multiple foes after the arrow breaks and hits others (forgot the skill) but what about when firing volley. Will the volley poison all targets hit? It seems that poisons might not be so good when your only attacking one foe.

I generally avoid investing in poison damage in general.
The only thing I think is worth it (and absolutely essential) is Mandrake and Nightshade. Volley should poison all the targets because each shot is still technically one of your attacks, with damage based on your character/items/skills. The skill you mentionned where the arrow scatters doesn't have poison isn't one of your attacks as it isn't base on your damage, it's based on the skill's level. On top of that, it's a skill that activates after you hit a target rather than something that you shoot directly from yourself (which might explain why Throwing Knives carry poisons fine but not this skill). |

Yeah I know poisons aren't great for damage but if AoE attacks didnt carry poisons it would make poisons much less wanted by me atleast. I want to be able to slow/confuse/ect a group of mobs and not just use it for single targets and bosses. With Volley maxed and a couple +volley or skills ill have a 16-20% or maybe more chance to volley so thats a good way to get a drop on groups of monsters I suppose.
