Hi!
I once had a corsair. He was around lvl 34 when I deleted him. I put all my skill points in my masteries first and I didnt like that cuz all my skills where not that good. Then I made a pure defender. He was real good. Now, combined with what I know from rogue mastery, I think it would be great to have a corsair. Ok. I dont know what to tell you about the bleed skills. It's really good on normal. Passed that, I read that it's not good. So it's your choice to keep it or not. Same for poison. Keep envenom weapond lvl 1, max nightshade/mandrake, and dont touch toxin distillation. For defence you have a great start. Your adrenaline tree is perfect, keep it like this. I dont really use rally, so if anyone has tips for it, go ahead. Battle awereness is good for is upgrades. Keep this skill lvl 1 and max upgrades. Quick recovery is real good when surrounded. The weapond pool tree (shield smash, disable and pulverize) is a need for me. All maxed, you have like 48% chance to hit with your shield, and pulverize will spread your poison on multiples target. Get at least batter and shield charge for their upgrades. They are also good to spread poison. I keep colossus form at lvl 1 for bosses. I would get armor handling, and maybe let it down when my strenght will be high enough for wearing armors. For the rogue mastery, Calculated strike and lucky hit is also great to have. Go for blade honing or concusive blow depending your weapond type. Lethal strike/mortal wound is a really quick/powerful hit, but doesnt work with maces. I think I'd go with something like this : http://www.titancalc.com/TitanCalc.a...-8-6-6-0-1-6-0 There are leftover points with this build. Maybe invest in knives to spread poison or get into rally tree. I hope these tips will help you and plz, if anybody think there is something wrong with this build, just reply so I will learn from it! ![]() Last edited by Benoit.Demers : 08-27-2006 at 05:11 AM. |

@rantz bleed skills dont cut it later on ignore these, same for envenom weapon
flash powder is a max or ignore skill especially if you already have poison. i dont think 1 point in rally will ever do anything @ both builders here: 1 point in lethal strike wont be enough to justify its immense casting cost, max it or leave it either is fine |

most people put at least 1 point in Throwing Knifes and then 6/6 Flurry of Knifes. This allows you to get Nightshade/Mandrake on full groups of monsters before engaging them. Its a very effective tactic and throwing knifes is fun as well. Sadly bleeding and poison damage isnt as powerful on Legendary as it was on Normal. So you might want to respec your points from Anatomy / Open Wound / Toxin Distillation.
Flash Powder is a all or nothing skill, so max it out if your going to use it. Its very nice as a "when all hell breaks loose" card for getting you out of trouble or starting out fights vs big groups of monsters. You probably wont need it though Normal though. Batter is in my opinion one of the best skills for a Corsair, it stacks with Nightshade, thats an amazing 89% Slowed if you got both Batter/Nightshade on a target. Getting Rend Armor also allows you to Batter several targets at once as well as reducing their armor. Ive got mine on my right mouse button and usually open up fights with it if there are several monsters lined up. Also you dont really need more than 1 point in Battle Awarness, those points can be spent elsewhere for much more value. Put at least 1 point into Mortal Wound if you got Lethal Strike, to gain the 3 second stun the skill allows. Last edited by ZombieBunny : 08-27-2006 at 08:38 AM. |
