What weapon do I use for my Warlock?

I have just started to develop a warlock, I've been putting points into str and dex because I have a few items that would really develop my warlock.

I have 2 weapons and both are suited for the roque mastery.

The first is a legendary axe:

Called Cerberus Bite

173-180 Damage
20% Piercing
Speed: Average

348 Bleeding Damage Over 6 Seconds
3% Chance of +252% Bleeding Damage
7% of Attack Damage Converted to Health
+29 Strength
+1 to All Skills in Rogue Mastery
Grants Skill: Charge

Required Dexterity: 150
Required Strength: 407


THe second is a legendary spear called Amazonian Spear

155-169 Damage
25% Piercing
Speed: Slow

10% Chance of +196% Piercing
294 Poison Damage Over 6 Seconds
10% Chance of +112% Poison Damage
+26 Dexterity
+56 Offensive Ability
+23% Attack Speed
+10% Movement


Tough decision, what do you guys recommend, from any warlockers out there.

Well it kind of depends on your spec.
If you have lethal strike or blade honing I would go spear.
If not I would go axe.

Have you invested into bleeds or poisons?
If not Neither weapon may be your best choice.

Personally I have had the best luck simply with Sabertooths so far.
They generally have amazing damage, and super fast attack speeds.
On top of that you get to choose what enchant to add.

I have not tried either one of those weapons, and must admit im only half way through legendary.
