[Magician] - Anyone interested in a Guide?

I'm thinking of writing a new class guide about my 3rd (actually 4th) character class, the Magician. However the combo ain't that common and I'm wondering if people would be even interested in this class?

Please let me know if you would be interested in sutch a class guide and I'll see if there is enough interest in the air, if so I will start writing the guide as soon as possible. Thanks.

I have a level 45 magician. Dont really know if I've made the right skill and statpoint choices etc, because my char really sucks. A guide would be very apreciated because it's a fun combo to play with!

Depends totally if you made it as a melee- or a caster character.

My Magician doesn't suck, I must say that it's probably the most fun character I have played with (having played Conjurer, Paladin and Champion).

I'll add a gameplay video to this post once I get home (@work now) so you can see that the its not a bad combination of Masteries.

I have been reading the forums a bit and this build sounds like a lot of fun and viable, I certainly would be interested in a guide and i think more people will start to become interested in builds like this as time goes on.

Please write the guide and let people experiment with a class that is a bit different to the commonly used melee/caster classes

I saw your video and noticed you are not using traps, or even knifes. Do you have a link to your current build setup? I've tried several builds with my magician, and by far the best I've found is using max traps, core dweller, earth enchantment as the core of the build. Right now I'm experimenting with throwing knives and seeing if I can milk it along with my abilities for maximum effectiveness. What is the yellow icon you are using in the video as it's not an ability I've used? Is it Eruption or Volcanic Orb?

Your main abilities seem to be Calculated Strike, Lethal Strike, Core Dweller, that yellow icon , Stone Form (I assume at one point or two only), Envenom Weapon, Earth Enchantment, Blade Honing. When I tried a similar build I had lots of problems and it didn't seem very effective, but I was using Flash Powder, not that yellow icon ability.

Hi Blaze, it's Michele form ITA, before you post your guide, have you some tips for me? 'cause I've started a Battle Mage (Earth + Warfare), for now I'm only level 4 with Earth, but I planned to be a BM; and I need your information!

I would also be interested in a guide as rogue is my favorite mastery. I'm currently running a corsair and paladin but my next character will likely be a magician or sorceror. It looks like you are using earth enchant, core, stone form, calc strike, leathal strike, and the poison line (plus war horn from Kydoimos). Does core replace the need for flash power?
