I also recommend the dreamkiller character (dream and rogue). The trance of wrath allows the rogue to be viable against nearly all types of monsters. You'll probably want a complete set of legendary monkey charms for the reduce resistance bonus.

These two abilities help the dreamkiller go far.

IMHO, Dreamkiller makes the best pseudo-ninja. I actually have one toon decked out in a complete set of ninja gear just for the heck of it - she looks real nifty, too! This gear was obtained by extensive farming of the Overlord's Passage (in IT, just beyond Rhodes) although I admit to eventually getting frustrated and completing the set through visiting a Mod called MAPPERS. This gear can't be sold, so I suppose it isn't quite "legal", per se, and you may not be able to use it in Multiplayer. But there's nothing like using PHANTOM STRIKE to sneak up on opponents and smack'em down!

I think it's simply called NINJA SUIT.

Kurakota (Gauntlets)
Jiki Tabi (Greaves)
Uwagi (Ninja suit)
Sanjuku (Helm/hood)
Sai (Off-hand weapon)
Katana (Sword)

To use the Sai, you'll also need Dual Wield. I replaced the Sai with an Aionos shield myself, but Spectral Shield is okay as well.

All armor is rated 90, so it's not for absolute beginners.

custom gear? good good, seems the only ninjish gear i can find is the dune raiders armour (red robes) and the standard mongolian helm with the cloth covering the face (stupid spike on it though).

I still haven't picked 2nd mastery at lvl17 at act2 and i want to make a dreamkiller...but...i just found a second fellblade....dammit

Brows: I'd hate to recommend that you cheat, but perhaps you could select DUAL WIELD and a few other WARFARE skills, then use DEFILER to change your masteries. Remember to READ the pop ups before making ANY changes, and make sure to retain those skills before making your next (DREAM) selection! There are several people at Michael's (aka Soulseeker's) site that will be able to help.

That gear is just the gear you can unlock by typing in a password in IT

And it has a level restriction of level 30.
