Hey peeps, first post here, so here we go:
I've been playing TQ for a while now, and my main character is a level 47 Elementalist/Pyromancer, and I just finished epic-difficulty (crap loot by the way! Bah!), so I have some experience already. I got somewhat bored with that character, so I decided to start a new one and I chose Brigand. I started up and picked up the Hunting-mastery first, since I liked to improve my character with bows and stuff right from the beginning. At the moment I'm lvl 16 and my build looks something like this: http://www.titancalc.com/TitanCalc.a...-0-0-0-0-0-0-0 I really feel like I'm not doing the dps everyone was telling me Brigands do. :P I feel like I'm killing everything way more slow than my Conqueror and Elementalist did at this stage. Is there something with my build that screws my dps up? Should I have started with building up the Rogue-tree instead of Hunting? Is the poisoning stuff the main source of dps for a Brigand? I also have problems with loot. Nah, not just bad luck (that too, though!), but every even remotely good piece of loot has some weird requirements like strenght and intelligence! What's up with that? Ain't rogues and hunters all about dexterity? How should I build up my attributes to be able to wear decent Brigand gear? I've been reading Felexitus' threads quite alot, but I'd like some answers to these problems and maybe some general tips about being a Brigand in general, too. ![]() Cheers, and thanks in advance, Kelryn. |

Do you think I could save the situation by respeccing all my points from hunting to the rogue tree to get some poisons and other dps skills or just start gathering up points in the rogue mastery without taking points from hunting out, or should I just stick a lil' longer while with Hunting now that I got started with it? Hi,
I would try max out Envenom Weapon...and look for poison bows...it helped me a lot form the beginning!! Then switch to other +pierce skills and Envenom weapon put down to 1 point.. Be aware of Blade Honing skill, it's not for bows!! Bye i.n.s.a.n.e |

My brigand is level 30 now and I do very good in Normal Orient with Traps "only" at level 6 and Envenom at 5. I like to change between bow and spear just for fun. Starting a brigand with more or less the rogue skills only is very efficient - but use the hunter's wood lore for more attack speed, that makes a big difference.
