What I find, is that sometimes a sequel isn't as good as the original. They change it into first person view, rather than 'isometric' and original TQ is perfect for modding, with the toolset and that. There are so many of those D&D type games around in first person, dosn't do it for me. Like Neverwinter nights. The original is said to be better than the NWN2, but I don't much like the look of NWN, it looks dark and the character is rather blocky. TQ is a whole new level of D&D beauty.

after seeing Forbidden Kingdom I thought there are so many quest to solve (Elixir of Immortality,Monkey King's Staff)if there will be TQ2.I was so amazed how the setting in that movie somehow similar to the design of TQ especially the path through the Jade Palace.

Doesn't help that most games adopt the D&D combat system which is purty slow. Sad to see Sacred 2 chose it, wonder if it will play out right. I just don't think Hack N Slash games and D&D go together well, but well see. If no one knows what Sacred is, it's an average Hack N Slash, a few steps below Titan Quest, but still fun for a run through.

Man, we had great stuff planned for TQ2, its too bad we never got a chance to make it. We weren't going first-person as that can lead to disorienting combat and diminish the fun of seeing your character in cool equipment. We were going to pull the camera in behind / above the character so players were closer to the action and allow for free rotation - but you'd still be able to play from more of a top-down perspective if you wanted. We were also working on a new combat system with action-game style melee combat, finishing moves, and a ranged mode that pulled in over-the-shoulder similar to Gears of War. In our demo we had a mechanized repeating crossbow that was a blast to use. It was going to take place in a unique fictional world and in some places the player would be able to take part in large-scale battles with strategic objectives.

Man, did we miss out on something... not sure if I'd like too much of a change in the hack'n slash part, but it does sound appealing.
Were there any plans for closed servers too?

I don't know if there would have been closed servers on PC, its hard to get publishers to want to pay for that these days. However, we also wanted to release on Xbox360 and PS3, which would have automatically been relatively secure. Team PvP was going to be a big feature.

Hi medierra, nice to see you here. Have you looked at our mods section? Between Lilith, Masteries, the unofficial patch, AllSkins and some other cool mods , we've been trying to keep the game from getting old. If you haven't tried yet, I believe it would be interesting at least to have a look and see how the child has evolved...

The ideas for TQ2 seem very interesting. Hopefully they'll exist in some game - who knows exactly what the future can bring?

Let's give each other a big, warm hug that washes away our sadness. Let's throw in some *** groping for good measure, if you're into that

I mean, who doesn't like to fondle a tight trained ***?
