IronLore went bankrupt seems a good reason.
Also, TQ wasn't really succesful. It was definetely good and severely underrated, but there's not a big following.

Honestly the only reason I picked up this game is because I was bored while waiting for Diablo 3 news. Anyways long story short aside from the skill system I have had alot more fun on this game than any of the other diablo games.(Huge Diablo Fan Boy)

I don't understand how Iron Lore created this game with so much potential, realized a ton of that potential in IT, then were shut down. Titan Quest is a good game, and certainly a whole lot better than a ton of crap that gets pushed out there today and is constantly being sequel'd. How many games can boast even the slightest bit of replay value, something that TQ has in spades?
It just sucks so bad. Yea, I'm whining, so what? I finally find a company that puts out a game I really like, and they go out of business. Just like Troika a few years back. Iron Lore should have gotten a real snazzy PR guy who could hype the **** out of TQ and have some chick dressed as a sexy Athena at his side, and have them use buzz words like "immersion", "next-gen", "old school", and "Diablo killer". They also should have the game throw up a message before crashing a pirated copy, something along the lines of "Hey, the game isn't crashing because it sucks, it's crashing because you're a filthy pirate! Thanks for playing and please go out and purchase a real copy!" For christ's sake, Dungeon Siege got a sequel, a handful of expansions, and a spin off (Space Siege). All those game were horrible and TQ is a better aRPG in every single aspect.
